A Quick Quiz, Safer Workdays, and a $250 Winner
Earlier this month, our Safety Quiz was rolled out as part of our ongoing focus on workplace safety. Designed to be quick, simple, and engaging, the quiz gave our casual workforce the opportunity to refresh key safety knowledge while going into the draw to win a $250 gift card.
Branches played an important role in distributing the quiz and helping ensure these safety messages reached active casuals across sites.
Key Safety Practices Reinforced
The Safety Quiz focused on everyday actions that make a real difference on site, including:

Stretching and movement: Completing stretches and exercises before, during, and after work helps reduce fatigue and lower the risk of injury.

Incident reporting: Any incident, accident, near miss, or equipment damage must be reported immediately to the onsite Supervisor and APG representative.

Correct PPE use: Required PPE such as gloves, boots, eye protection, and hearing protection should always be worn, checked before starting work, and reported if damaged or needing replacement.

Stop and ask: If unsure about equipment or a task, stopping to ask is essential. Safety should never be assumed.
These simple reminders support safer work environments and stronger safety awareness across all sites.
